Staying at Oyster House
Our rooms Our guest accommodation is set adjacent to the house in the old dairy building. This has been carefully restored to provide comfortable, light and airy ground floor rooms. Both the double and twin rooms open directly onto a grassed courtyard, allowing guests extra privacy and convenience and giving you a pleasant outdoor sitting space for relaxing or quiet days. The rooms are furnished in a simple country style with en-suite bathrooms, colour TV, central heating and a tea and coffee tray and have views over the gardens to farmland beyond. Although they are not wheelchair accessible, these rooms are suitable for guests with limited mobility (please see our access statement for further details). All accommodation is strictly 'no smoking' and we regret but we do not allow pets. We have private off-street parking. Breakfast Our award-winning Breakfast is served in a pretty parlour in the main house. Choose from a traditional Aga cooked breakfast, cooked using the finest fresh local produce we can find (Richard is the fifth-generation in his family to run our village butcher and knows a thing or two about sausages), or a lighter alternative. We are happy to make early breakfasts for those keen to be up and about. Please let us know if you have any special requirements.
Packed lunches
A packed lunch can be provided at a cost of £5.00... please order at the time of booking.
Gardens
We hope our guests will feel free to enjoy our lovely gardens. Relax in a peaceful setting and enjoy the quiet life of North Norfolk. Stroll among colourful
spring bulbs or breathe in the scent of summer lavender and Olde English roses. Have a game of croquet on the lawns or just laze on a bench and feed the chickens...
